Sydney Russell School - 'Green Team!'

The Challenge:

• ESSA delivered Campaign for Change training to students from Sydney Russell School
• The students were inspired by the training ande developed a camapign to promote green issues and sustainability in their school.

Green Team - Great Time!

• Sydney Russell School asked ESSA to deliver a "Campaign for Change" training session with 20 students from the school's Green Team.
• ESSA facilitated a fun, interactive session on campaigning to help to students develop their ideas - posters and videos were used, as well as a creative workshop, and a student debate.

• Green Team student Rebecca said: "We learnt a lot and had a lot of fun. I loved the paper snowball fight at the start!"
• One of the students' faourite moments of the day was the creation of a 'Green Campaigner Superhero!'
• Green Team student Thomas said: "Our hero can fly so he can show banners all over the world!"
• Everyone had a great day and the Green Team are continuing to develop their project, having been really empowered by the "Campaign for Change" training!
