Much of the work we do at StudentVoice is dependent on receiving funding and support from external organisations, donors and partners, often this funding is linked to working on specific projects.

We are always looking for new avenues of funding and projects to work on, so please contact us if you would like to support our work or have any ideas.

We acknowledge and appreciate all the support we receive.  We would like to thank the funders and supporters who are helping us to deliver our goals.

Phoenix Education Trust

Phoenix Education Trust Logo

The Phoenix Education Trust has supported StudentVoice since it was founded (formally ESSA), it operates as a parent body for StudentVoice.  Phoenix has donated a significant amount of staff time to support StudentVoice in submitting funding bids, holding meetings, delivering projects, developing the organisation on all levels and managing our finances.

Paul Hamlyn Foundation

The Paul Hamlyn Foundation has provided StudentVoice with significant funding in the past.  This was for the 'Peer Effect Project' which ran over two academic years.  This project worked cosely with 7 hub schools accross the country.  A group of students at these schools received training on confidence, communication, campaigning and peer training skills.  These students used their newly acquired and developed skills to work with other students in their own and neighbouring schools.

National Union of Teachers (NUT)

The NUT has provided StudentVoice (formally ESSA) with funding over many years for a range of projects and services to support our student members.  This funding enables us to conduct an in depth consultation with our student members regarding what they want from StudentVoice as a representative membership organisation.  This entails both live meetings and working with students to develop an online consultation.

Big Lottery Fund

The Big Lottery Fund has recently awarded StudentVoice with a grant of £9944. This grant is going to be incredibly helpful as we intend to use the grant for our campaign over the next year as well as to help to organise our conference for 2015, the dates for this will be confirmed soon. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Big Lottery Fund and we look forward to the exciting times ahead!
