General

ESSA collects personal information when you register with us.

When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, address, post code, interests. Once you register with ESSA and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

 ESSA automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you request. However, we use these server logs only to generate anonymous usage statistics.

ESSA uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

ESSA does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested when we have your permission.

ESSA may set and access ESSA cookies on your computer, which are are small files resident on your hard disk that allow the website to identify users, particularly repeat or registered users, and provide information on how and when the site is used.

Editing and Deleting Your Account Information

You may view and change the details we hold on record for you, at any time using the edit profile link on the site. You may also delete your account information via the same link. We do not store information for longer than is necessary.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the ESSA service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the ESSA Newsletter, that are considered part of your ESSA account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.

We fully comply with the Data Protection Act.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to do their jobs.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

ESSA may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account and/or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
